At SteakStones we’ve been helping Restaurants offer an incredible experience to their guests for nearly 20 years. It fills us with pleasure that one of our very first Restaurants, The Grumpy Mole in Surrey, UK, is still serving Steak on the Stone with our products to this day. In fact, The Grumpy Mole Group has expanded to 5 venues over the years and owner Simon Nicholson is a huge fan. “Steak on the Stone is the first thing on the menu in every one of our venues. When we first discussed the concept with Nick he said it would be akin to having a celebrity chef in our venue and the appeal of the concept has remained for all these years with our customers bringing friends from miles around to enjoy meals cooked on SteakStones exceptional products”.

Another multi-site venue to benefit from the introduction of SteakStones is Steak & Company with 5 central London sites. Steak & Co first introduced the concept in 2010 and it soon became a firm favourite, but over several years as the company replaced SteakStones products with inferior replacements, the concept became confused. Fortunately, customer feedback led to an honest meeting where the venue confirmed they had become disillusioned after a previous employee tried to save them money, when actually they were buying other products which lasted just a few months rather than the several years of SteakStones top quality products. Since then, Steak & Company have increased the number of meals served on SteakStones original designs and have expanded from individual sets to the company’s Sharing Sets for their Tomahawk serve.

Howard Evans owns the group of Tomahawk SteakHouses in North East England and added Steak on the Stone to his venues in 2024. “The concept has given us a great USP and fun and memorable way for guests to enjoy their Steak dining experience. There was a concern from some of our Chefs that customers would turn up their noses at cooking their own Steak, but we have all been impressed and thankful that customers love the experience and being in control of how well their Steak is cooked”.

SteakStones are used for all manner of Steaks and Sushi Samba in London choose our sets to serve London’s most expensive Kobe Steak. Like the Hibachi Tables of Japan, our searing Lava Stones provide the perfect surface to create the perfect sear. SteakStones are now use in Sushi Samba venues from London to Amsterdam and New York to Abu Dhabi.
